The scholarship page should only collect enough student information to award the scholarship AND MUST NOT BE USED for any other purpose. You would be depressed at the number of scams and other questionably sites that are out there.
In order to meet the various schools requirements, expect to be vetted. They have very high standards so we will be checking for lawsuits, consumer complaints, etc. Believe me, many financial aid administrators will do their own checking as well. It is not unheard of for a schools financial aid office to have some of their students apply and then wait 6 months to see if you use their information to market to them.
